Lamar Unversity Colony was founded on April 13, 2013 by ten distinuished ladies at Lamar University.

In 3 short years we have accomplished a lot on campus, from being the biggest MGC sorority on campus and winning the highest GPA award.

On August 5, 2016 we recieved chapter status and went from Lamar University Colony to the Omicron Chapter of Sigma Sigma Rho!
